Every performance is an opportunity to honour the rich traditions of oriental dance while continuing a lifelong journey of learning, artistry, and excellence.

Our Artistic Journey

The Zarina Bellydance Twins have dedicated their careers to refining the art of oriental dance through professional performance, international training, and continuous artistic development.

Their journey has taken them to Egypt—the birthplace of belly dance—where they trained with some of the world's most respected artists, including Farida Fahmy, Essam, Kazafy, and Aida Nour. They have also continued their professional development with Australia's Keti Sharif and Turkish master Azad Kaan.

Over the past five years, they have performed extensively across Western Australia and interstate, appeared in internationally recognised theatre productions, won an international competition, and continue to represent Australian oriental dance on increasingly prestigious stages, their professional journey has also included appearances in commercial music video productions, reflecting the versatility of their artistry across both live performance and filmed productions.

Every experience has shaped the refined, authentic performances they bring to weddings, luxury celebrations, and exclusive events today.

A Journey to the Birthplace of Belly Dance

The zarina twin’s journey to Egypt marked one of the most defining chapters in their artistic development.
Beyond professional training with internationally acclaimed artists, the twins were welcomed into the culture, receiving the generosity, guidance, and friendship of the Egyptian people. Through authentic daily experiences, meaningful cultural connections, and unforgettable memories, they gained a deeper understanding of the traditions, history, and artistry that continue to shape the refined performances they bring to weddings, luxury celebrations, and exclusive events.

Sharing the Stage with World-Renowned Artists

As their professional journey has evolved, The Zarina Belly dance Twins have been invited to perform in acclaimed theatre productions across Australia, sharing the stage with internationally respected artists while continuing to refine their craft. Highlights include The BDExperience by Jillina in Melbourne and One Night in Istanbul, directed by Azad Kaan as part of the Adelaide Fringe Festival—the largest annual arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere. These experiences have not only broadened their artistic development but have also created lifelong connections, unforgettable memories, and a deeper appreciation for the global belly dance community.
